Food quality is sublime and presented fit for a king. Roast dinner on a Sunday tasty and filling, Had the neopolitan sundae that was so tasty and enjoyable. All washed down with a sharps cider. This was all for £25.50 per person.
Location is by the bus and train stations so ideal.
You cannot fault this cafe it's 10 out of 10 for me and we be back again. Even a menu for your pooches as well.

Just an update I’ve come here for the second year and the food is still out of this world especially the Sunday dinner and the service wow we ordered and within 10 minutes it was with us perfectly cooked thank you very much Hellys.

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality, particularly the Sunday Roast special, which was excellent. We also tried the ploughman's lunch (a non-traditional, but tasty take on the dish), and a milkshake (we ordered one of the less fancy options, but it was still very good).
Note: Hellys can be quite busy and are very proactive with managing their capacity; do not expect to just wander in and sit down. You may have to wait a few minutes to be seated, even if there appear to be free tables (To my knowledge restaurants do this to help match the number of guests to their actual kitchen capacity; It seems to be working here, once seated our orders were taken quite quickly, and our means were delivered promptly).- Service

I previously ordered the avocado toast for breakfast, and the green sauce drizzled around the plate was absolutely delicious. I really want to know what kind of sauce it was! Came for a quick bite at lunch, just ahead of the main kitchen closing at 15.00. Pleasantly surprised to find a very decent selection of gluten free options, and a wide ranging menu. Orders quickly taken and food arrived in good time. All delicious. Thank you!

Was surprised that it offered Sunday Dinners, my son ordered the large Sunday dinner and it looked amazing. As I was Gluten Free I was a bit sceptical but I was amazed at the choices offered to me. In the end I only wanted something light so I ordered the toastie and it came with a salad and I have to say it was the best toastie I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning in the future. Fantastic Staff and very helpful, and the choices of food was impeccable.Owner response

Full breakfast was filling and delicious. Atmosphere is excellent with beautiful decor very inviting providing a good dining experience. Staff very friendly and attentive, food came out quickly and very tasty. Highly recommended place to eat in Penzance!

Would try other things in the menu next time. It's a place that shouldn't be underestimated.
What a shame. Such a stunning tourist district but most of the restaurants and shops close so early.
